ClearLah collects only the information needed to run Singapore secondhand marketplace flows: account verification, listing review, buyer matching, checkout, delivery, payment evidence, handover records, support, and trust review.
What we collect
- Name, WhatsApp number, email, account role, and verification code events.
- Seller identity, address, selfie, PayNow ID, and verification document links.
- Listing photos, descriptions, dimensions, condition, defects, access notes, and pickup windows.
- Buyer checkout details such as contact, area, address type, unit, postal code, delivery window, and notes.
- Payment records, handover records, dispute evidence, messages, reports, reviews, and admin audit notes.
How we use it
- Create and review listings, detect prohibited or risky items, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent listings.
- Match buyers and sellers, manage carts, offers, checkout, delivery, reviews, refunds, and seller payouts.
- Send operational WhatsApp/SMS/email messages, including login codes, order updates, and dispute notices.
- Investigate trust reports, payment records, handover records, delivery issues, and policy violations.
What stays private
Public listings do not publish full unit addresses, private seller phone numbers, buyer contact details, payment records, identity documents, private access notes, or dispute evidence. Private media is available only to the relevant owner, order parties, or admin.
Who may receive data
- Confirmed buyers, sellers, and delivery crew receive only the details needed for a transaction.
- Cloudflare, notification, payment, and storage providers may process data for hosting and operations.
- ClearLah may disclose information if required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
Retention
We keep records while needed for active orders, review evidence, accounting, trust and safety, refunds, seller payouts, and launch audit records. We may remove or anonymize data when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
Your requests
To request access, correction, removal, or account support, email hello@clearlah.sg with your WhatsApp number and the relevant listing, order, or case ID.
Do not upload someone else's identity document, payment record, address, or photo unless you are authorized to use it for the ClearLah transaction.
